The Quotient Group Announces DBE Certification from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation

The Quotient Group, a full-service aviation and transit marketing agency established in 2013, is proud to announce its recent Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Certification awarded by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) following a rigorous application and review process. This certification means that The Quotient Group meets the requirements to do business with local, state, and federal government departments as a disadvantaged woman-owned business enterprise.

According to the Department of Transportation (DOT) website, “the DBE program is intended to remedy past and current discrimination against disadvantaged business enterprises, ensure a level playing field and foster equal opportunity in DOT-assisted contracts.” DOT DBE regulations require federally-funded state and local transportation agencies to establish annual DBE goals.

“We are honored to receive our Wisconsin DBE certification and look forward to expanding our certification to other states,” said Kim Sippola, Owner and President of The Quotient Group. “Anyone who has ever owned or operated a business understands how one project can make the difference between success and failure. This certification levels the playing field and opens the door to more opportunities to grow our business and allows us to help airports and transit systems meet their DBE goals.”

Seventy-five years ago, the “We Can Do It!” poster was designed as a symbol of women’s economic power. The Quotient Group has adopted Rosie the Riveter as its icon to celebrate the company’s accomplishment and honor the hard work of women from previous generations.
