It’s very nearly SCASD season, which means the Department of Transportation will soon be accepting applications for Small Community Air Service Development grants. Speaking of SCASD grants, did you know that you can apply to receive SCASD funds for marketing? It’s true! And we can’t imagine any airport turning down marketing money, because that’s just crazy.
Not only that, but SCASD funds can also be used to pay for market research and even consultants (ahem).
So if the thought of writing a grant application causes your eyes to roll back in your head, don’t panic. Take a drink of water. Take a deep breath. Take it from us: You don’t have to do it alone. Our team of experts has participated in several successful grant applications and can help your airport put together a sweet application, and when it’s done, you can pencil in a little time in your busy schedule to daydream about what you’ll do with the funds if your airport receives an award.
Now, we can’t promise you’ll hit the jackpot (in fact, it’s probably poor taste to even call it that), but with an average grant of more than $400k (based on data from the past three years) going to 25+ airports each year (ditto on the data dates), we can’t help but think The Quotient Group might be able to help a very deserving airport secure the funds they need to knock their marketing out of the park and hang on tightly to the air service they have.
Sound like something you’d like to learn more about? Oh good, we’ve got a page for that. Check it out, and give us a shout if we can help your airport apply for a Small Community Air Service Development grant this year.
