What is a DBE/ACDBE?

Disadvantaged Business Enterprise is a designation awarded by the U.S. Department of Transportation to small businesses who apply and meet a list of criteria. The DBE program helps ensure that small, disadvantaged business enterprises have fair opportunities to compete for federally-funded transportation-related projects. ACDBE is the designation for DBEs participating in Airport Concessions, such as in-terminal advertising programs.
